OK Go does it again. This time with toast. [video]

OK Go’s latest music video is totally impressive as always. It is comprised entirely of photos of pieces of toast with images burned into them. I also love this statement on the video’s YouTube page:

“All 215 loaves of bread used in the making of this video were past their sell-by date and rescued from the clutches of certain disposal.”

Konapun Soft Cream (Soft Serve) Toy [video]

konapun ice cream

I’m convinced that “konapun” toys were invented by Japanese toy makers to drive me into a cuteness frenzy and lure me to defect to Japan.

This konapun kit in particular is for making fake miniature soft serve ice cream cones, or “soft cream” as they call it in Japan.

Be sure to play it to the end so you can see them squeeze the ice cream out!

81-Year-Old High School Sweethearts Reunite [video]

Who needs a good “happy cry” today? Well, you’re gettin’ one whether you want it or not.

This video was made by a woman who struck up a conversation with an 81-year-old man named Jack on an airplane. She learned that he was on his way to meet his high-school sweetheart who he hadn’t seen in 62 years. So she asked if she could videotape the reunion and it’s so amazing and sweet what unfolds from there!

(Kinda reminds you what nice things can come about when you strike up a conversation with a random stranger now and again.)
