Heather from DollarStoreCrafts.com made this lamp for a contest where you had to make a home decor item out of dollar store purchases totaling no more than $5.00. Brilliant and hysterical!

Camilla from the Family Chic blog was looking at Ikea's cupcake liners recently and they reminded her of pretty little lampshades so she made strung lights out of them for her garden! Check out her blog entry for the step by step instructions. (Discovered via DollarStoreCrafts)

P.S. If you're wondering if these would be a fire hazard since the liners are paper, Camilla points out that since they're safe for the oven, there's probably not a fire risk.
