Mini Rubiks Cube Keychains aka Why I Love Being an Adult

minature rubiks cubes

So, who else out there begged and pleaded with their parents to give them a quarter every trip to the supermarket so they could win the prized miniature Rubiks Cube keychains out of the gumball machine? And who out there never won one? And who out there secretly suspected there was only like one of these in the whole machine (if any) and all the rest of the prizes where crappy plastic rings but yet they still tried to win one every time?

This is why I love being an adult. I can now buy a box of twelve miniature Rubiks Cubes with my own grown up money. Hurrah!

Japanese Macaron Making Kit

japanese macroon making kit

Be still my beating heart. This is a baking kit which helps you to make French-style macaroons. But of course in adorable shapes!

The kit comes with a special hot pink mixer contraption and molds for the cookies. I believe it also comes with the ingredients but I couldn’t quite tell from the description. Needless to say you’d eventually want to be able to supply your own ingredients so you can make these over and over.

You can find this at from-japan-with-love.com.

Dancing Cupcakes Birthday Cards

I bought these cards at a local shop not too long ago and it makes me so happy to send them out to people! I was psyched to see that the creator of these also sells them on Etsy so you can buy them online.

At only $12 for a set of 4, that price beats the pants off of Hallmark cards these days. Plus they are hand-silkscreened which really gives them an extra special look. Check them out at modernradar’s Etsy shop.

Let’s Bake Fabric

Spoonflower.com is a really neat business. You upload your own design and they print it into fabric which you can order by the yard. I’ve ordered some before and the quality is really great.

You can just design and order custom fabric for your own use and you can also open up a little shop and sell fabric with your designs and you get a cut whenever someone buys some.

This Let’s Bake fabric was designed by Spoonflower user anda and it’s really sweet!
