Hats off to the ad agency who came up with this cheeky (and no doubt viral) ad campaign for the New York State Lottery’s “Sweet Million” game.

I know pugs are inherently sad looking but c’mon! This brings it to a whole new level. I just want to reach into my computer screen and give him a hug. And a cookie.

Unlikely inter-species friendships are documented all over the internet but I think this is the largest number of different animals I’ve seen all together. Honestly, um, how the heck did this happen?
I think I would still accept a hug from this little guy despite him being covered in mud. You can read more about “Furrball” at ZooBorns.
Just a beautiful photo of an adorable pug. What more can I say? (And if I’m not mistaken, the caption would imply that this little guy’s name is Yoda. Awesome.)

Pre-cursor to sea monkeys or a knock-off of sea monkeys? Either way, this ad makes dinky little brine fish look like pretty darn adorable pets. You can see this ad and other vintage comic book ads here.
P.S. Random factoid: The guy who invented the Sea Monkeys toy/kit also invented the equally classic x-ray glasses (X-Ray Specs) and other “genius” products. If you’ve wanted to know way more than any human should know about Sea Monkeys and the guy who productized them, check out this article.
